Colleagues, collaboration is a critical factor in life science, as we all seek to move the needle in extending, and improving quality of, life.
Willingness to collaborate, and the nurturing and development of successful collaborations, will continue to define the landscape pf pharmaceutical research over the next decades. But collaboration is more than a business need: Collaboration is a privilege to those who are able to, by working together, truly make an impact.
In this light, I am privileged to share our collaboration with Findacure UK, to support research into rare disease therapeutics. As the head of Elsevier’s team of Life Science consultants, I am consistently impressed with our teams’ commitment and capabilities, but in this case, I am even more impressed with the passion and compassion that was demonstrated working with our Findacure collaborators.
I believe that further collaborations hold great promise, and look forward to expanding our collaborations in the Life Science community. More importantly, I look forward to expanding on our privilege to work alongside dedicated life science researchers to truly make a demonstrable impact.
If you are interested in further details, or in discussion on potential collaborations, please feel free to reach out to me personally.
